Update: I previously hated going to this Starbucks because the staff was more focused on the back counter than actual customers. I dreaded coming here because the orders would take so long because people in the back would gossip and talk so much that productivity would be slow.\ \ Today, I was actually impressed. They found someone who I can clearly understand and gets my orders. And actually have friendly customer service.
With a 6 hour layover, sleep-lagged from an 11 hour flight, I found solace in the tasty latte, the cheerful personnel, the good music, and the comfy chairs. Thank you Starbucks! You made my wait a pleasant experience.
When I saw the line of people waiting for their much needed shot of caffeine, I almost walked away. But I too needed my shot so I waited. I didn’t wait long. The baristas moved the line along and I got my drink, the way I wanted it, sooner than expected. Good job!
