“Where can I start. 1710 and Essex Inn came to our rescue hosting my Mother in Law's reception after her service as well as a private dinner at Essex Inn this past Saturday. although they were slammed Saturday night the service , food and attention toe every detail for the dinner was above expectations. For the Memorial Reception they delivered exceptional walk around and shared appetizers over a 3 hour period. Every hot appetizer was perfect. Greg and his team were so professional yet offered an atmosphere appropriate for the celebration. Many of the friends and family members had not been to either location and will now return when they are here. Thank you Greg amd Jennifer for making a a day filled with emotio memorable as most of our gathering were around food, family and drink and it was a perfect way to celebrate a life well lived with family and friends.”

“Stopped in today and had crab cake sandwich and coleslaw. Both were delicious. My husband had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and fries and said that both were excellent. Highly recommend this establishment. It is one of my daughter’s favorite place to eat when visiting our summer cottage.”

“Have been wanting to stop by for a while to try the root beer.. it did not disappoint!! I actually like it way more than the stuff you buy at the stores... It was pretty dead when we visited. We were only greeted by our waiter (we didn't catch his name) all others didn't even offer up so much as a smile, just acted like we didn't exist. Our waiter was super friendly and gave recommendations on what drinks they offered and various activities they hosted throughout the week. He made sure to come check on us in timely manner and didn't leave us hanging. We will return and try to request him for future visits.”
