Try the crab corn chowder. It's the best I've ever tasted. The breakfast, which is served until 3, is amazing as well. Highly recommend. Prices are reasonable but they close early somedays (3:00pm). All-in-all, great little restaurant with beautiful views of the golf course.
Stopped in for a late lunch. The restaurant is at the Hobbs Hole golf course. Nice atmosphere with windows around 3 sides looking at golf course. Very clean, and our waitress was friendly and very attentive. Sandwhichs were good. Would prefer dill pickles over sweet. One of the better places to eat in tappahannock.

The food was great. Our table ordered the Fried Oysters, Steak and Peach with blue cheese dressing, the Beef tip and mashed potato special and the grilled scallop appetizers. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. Atmosphere was great as well.
