It is always a treat to into this place. The single scoop is enough for two people really, and it is tasty Hersheys brand. The real draw is the memorabilia for me though. Tons of carnival ride objects throughout the spacious seating area, and smaller interesting things throughout the entire store. There is an antique store associated with them across the street, but, on a Saturday anyway, closed at 1700. There was some cool stuff on the sidewalk that I would've picked...
The ice cream was great and the employees are nice to you when you were picking they don’t rush you when you’re picking. It has some playing things for kids in the back for eating or you can just sit down if your kid does not like clowns maybe don’t bring them near the playing section. definitely recommend.
We live 40 min and would come to Tappahannock for lunch and then ice cream at ACME. We enjoy the antique items, the delicious ice cream, and the service we receive. We stopped there yesterday late afternoon. Once again, Samantha was the one waiting on us, she has always been helpful, fast and friendly.
