After years of thinking about the former Lowerys in Tappahannock, where once some of the best food in Virginia was on tap, I heard about its latest incarnation as Italian-American. Cheryl and I stopped there on our way back from Hampton. We were amazed. 528 is not just good, it is amazing! Creative dishes is an understatement. We had the best, freshest Italian food ever tonight. The staff is very friendly and attentive. 10/10 recommend!!
A wonderful place. We met a friend there on Saturday as it's half way between where she lives and where we live. We were able to take our time with friendly wait staff and the food -- just wonderful. Fresh calamari -- probably the best I've ever had, lovely pizzas and the pasta is home made which makes a huge difference. We will be back.
