We've lived near this restaurant for about 5 years. I regret not trying this sooner. Wife got the BBQ bake potatoe and a brownie with ice-cream. I got the shrimp po boy with corn salad and a piece of sweet potato maple cheesecake. It's some of the best food we've had in a long time an for 16$ per person and your over full packing leftovers home you can't beat it we will be going back soon
Yes you have to come here if you are in the area.The ambiance is like you are eating in an old general store. The ribs were outstanding, all we tried most of the sides between us - the mushrooms, the vinegar bean salad, the coleslaw .... The staff was great, the service was quick. A very family feeling that we were welcomed into.

This place is a must to see and the food is out of this world . My niece Sam works there tell her I sent you and I promise your taste buds wont forget it . I highly recommend going up there if you ever get to Tazewell county Virginia right across from the fort it's a must visit for some absolutely out of this world barbecue and the beans well you just have to try them for yourself I promise you that you will want seconds
