We drove with a BMW Z car group up to Tazwell. I called Fisher and Company on the way to inquire about lunch for a group of 21. They said they would take us. We arrived to find reserved tables and a very pleasant staff. The food was awesome and the service was great too. The 1907 general store atmosphere was a treat in itself. I highly recommend Fisher and Company.
Local legend that didn’t quite live up the hype. The loaded bbq nachos & bread were delicious, but both of the main dishes fell short. Ribs were pretty mediocre in taste & tenderness. The sides also were super underwhelming. Had to sit at the bar top with quite a lot of people crammed into the small counter. Didn’t get a refill. Priced a bit beyond its execution. Way too much crammed into a tiny dining room.
Traveling through the area for a business trip. Stop by this mom and Pop restaurant.
