The food and tea were wonderful, as was the cute tea room. There was a noisy crowd of 9 at a table that made it difficult to hear, and service was less than desirable as one person was trying to cover too many customers. But I will return.
Had a lovely high tea today using my gift card from my birthday at Crest Hill Tea Room - The Plains. The tea and the company were delightful. We each had a mimosa and then the Royal Tea. First course was a choice of soup or salad; we each had a different salad and they were a lovely start. The sandwiches, scones, and nibbles are presented on a tier tray with a cup of sweetened clotted cream. We enjoyed the atmosphere and easy parking options. I recommend you make reservations...
I was not a Tea Room person...until now. Very nice little place. Red Velvet Brownie is delicious. Hope was awesome with service and suggestions. I left with a bag of tea that I can't wait to experience.
