Country restaurant on the side of the road. Nothing fancy. You come here because this is your destination, not because it is somewhere next to something else. Portions are generous. Prices reasonable. Good parking. Filled up quickly and it was obvious most people were regulars.
Look what can I say. It's rare to find a place that does what a restaurant should. That is,serve good food with excellent service in a friendly welcoming environment for a reasonable price. Greenwood doesn't look like much outside but don't let that fool you. This place is absolutely on point from top to bottom. And this is coming from someone who is pretty picky. This is a must stop for anyone passing through.
I loved it here. The food was okay (I loved the round of potatoes for home fries) but it was the overall atmosphere that was wonderful. Clearly a lot of locals eat there. The waitress was top notch, attentive and friendly and handling a large party and about eight other customers with apparent ease. There are homemade jams on the counter for sale, an ample menu, and desserts on the specials board. Clean and bright and homey. I would definitely return.
