This matcha soft serve was delicious and plentiful! I asked for added red bean to it. I gave the 4 stars, instead of 5, because after being charged for red bean separately- it was a very stingy amount- as a red bean lover, I would've appreciated more and happily paid accordingly- very disappointing. The girl who served it didn't say much or offer much customer service. Otherwise, quite delicious.

I love their match shaved ice! It was great because they really use their matcha. Sometimes you can taste that matcha is not real or just really light, this place is not like that and even for their shaved ice, it was a great experience!

A cute little spot perfect for matcha lovers! You can get it in any way you prefer, matcha latte, matcha softserve, or even matcha Basque cheesecake.I have to stop here whenever I come to the mall, for a little treat. So far I have tried their matcha latte, hojicha latte (get it with cheese cream on top. It is on top of the world!) and soft serve and enjoyed it all. The matcha taste is intense like a really good quality kind. When I went the cakes were not available, but would love to try next time.

I was at Tysons Corner Mall the other day and for some odd reason I was just craving something Matcha. Luckily Matcha Cafe Maiko was around the corner as I was going out of Uniqlo so I was delighted to know my cravings were being met.This is a small stand that has a pretty extensive menu of Matcha related items/bakery goods you could buy. Unlike it's counter part in Centerville, options may be a bit limited too.I wasn't really feeling getting something hot like a Matcha latte so opted for something like... ice cream. You probably are wondering; isn't it cold to eat ice cream in the winter? Nonsense. I think it's the perfect time honestly.I got the Matcha & Vanilla Swirl on a Waffle Cone. The amount that they give you is a lot and even the waffle cone is pretty good too. My issue with waffle cones is that ice cream when melted can drip down the waffle as some just leak. This one I can safely say does not do that after holding it for 10-15 minutes straight. I was also eating inside of a store to confirm that too ( I don't recommend this, I was with friends so I tagged along ). My friend got this Uji-Kintoki shaved ice dessert that features Matcha Syrup, Adzuki Beans, Shiratama, and condensed milk. I had a scoop and I'd say it's a bit on the sweeter side but great for sharing. You honestly get alot for such a good price. My only complaint really is that there's only one person who works there afaik, and it seems like it could take a minute to get your order. Perhaps that could have been a slow day but I was still satisfied with how everything turned out.I'll be coming back for more ice cream!

Do NOT do a mobile order through Google/Chowbus. They never receive it and when inquired about it after 25 min at the register, the employees had no idea what was going on and told me “You know, we’re just employees, right?”. No authority present to resolve issues. The guy took a pic of my mobile order details and tried to make it, but after another 10 min, he only had one of my orders and it was NOT what I had ordered and said “I don’t know how to make that”. Smh. When I asked for a refund, they texted their boss and made me wait longer. I didn’t wanna ruin the vibe for other people any longer, so I just left. Do better, Maiko. This used to be my fav treat spot whenever I shopped here. No more. So disappointed.

The staff are a bit rude without any patience and hot tempered also, l could feel it by the way they were talking to me… sad because this place used to be my favorite.

This place is located inside Tysons corner and offers of variety of different Matcha drinks. I got the chocolate Matcha and it was almost 7 dollars for the medium which is their smallest size. It's really just a Matcha latte with some chocolate Hershey syrup in it, not sure what I expected, but it was just OK.If you're already in the mall and are looking for Matcha, it's a good spot to try out. Otherwise I wouldn't come to Tyson's just to try this place. However, I didn't try the ice cream and I can't speak on whether it's good or not so I'll have to come back and try that

This is such a nice spot for drinks/dessert after a good walk in the mallI love their matcha latte & matcha soft serve. You can taste the intense matcha flavor as well as the balance of the sweetness. If you prefer things less sweet I'd recommend hojicha (roasted green tea) as I find that the hojicha latte, personally tastes less sweet, and more toasty.They also offer various cakes selection, such as Basque cheese cake in different flavor, but were not available on the day I went.The staff was very nice and quick.I always get at least one drinks from here whenever I come to Tysons corners

I ordered the matcha soft serve and a plain iced matcha latte. They were pretty good, my only complaint was the soft serve had a more prominent bitter aftertaste than I'm normally used to with matcha ice cream or matcha soft serve, but otherwise I really enjoyed what I ordered. I'm not an expert with the Tyson's layout, but I found this stand very conveniently located on the 2nd floor next to the outdoor entrance for many fun outdoorrestaurants. I loved the ambience around this stand, and wish I snapped a picture! The ceiling was decorated with fake but pretty greenery and flowers, and there was ample seating between this stand and the Starbucks. The service was great, and the barista was kind and knowledgeable about the menu. I would definitely give it another try, maybe even try something new, as there seemed to be many interesting and tasty looking items to choose from!
