We enjoyed it. (Are there any other dining options in Upperville?) Great pub vibe, super nice people, attentive staff. The shrimp cocktail appetizer was fantastic w/ plump, juicy, large shrimp and a great sauce. Fish -n- chips? Enough for two. Excellent chips, excellent mushy peas, agree w/ another comment here - maybe less batter, more fish. Crispy and not greasy at all. The candied berries w/ cream - the Eton's Mess - was delicious.
Recommended by friends we met at the Salamander Inn, Hunter’s Head Tavern in Upperville was a great choice for a light dinner: Ayrshire Farm chicken pot pie, Caesar salad with shrimp, arugula salad with chicken, and cobb salad. The tavern was about to close for renovations and hopefully will return better than ever.
