Recommended by friends we met at the Salamander Inn, Hunter’s Head Tavern in Upperville was a great choice for a light dinner: Ayrshire Farm chicken pot pie, Caesar salad with shrimp, arugula salad with chicken, and cobb salad. The tavern was about to close for renovations and hopefully will return better than ever.
If I could give this place more stars, I definitely would- especially the food! Hats off to Chef Tim and his team! Spent a wonderful evening celebrating our anniversary in what felt like an English Pub.
Highly recommend everything we had: grilled beets, chicken pot pie, rainbow trout, and fish and chips. Plus we got a bonus of playing trivia!
