It has a nice feeling of a small town cafe. The servers were great and the food was good. We come down every year for the Urbana Oyster Fest and always try to get at least one or two meals there over the 4 days we are here.
I like to support the local businesses in Urbanna but I was tempted to leave a one star review. 3/5 of our dishes had many small hairs in them. Someone needs to stop trimming their pubes in my food. I don’t understand how there could be that much hair. It was at the point where there was more hair than food. I must have found around 5-10 hairs in my food. Wouldn’t recommend if you don’t want to cough up a hairball.
We picked this place for a late lunch because we saw it was more crowded than other places we had passed, and thought that was a good sign. It turned out to be a very nice lunch, great service and even better, reasonable prices. My friend had fried trout which came with cole slaw , loads of fries and very large hush puppies, all for $10 which is about the cheapest we've seen lately. I had Bar-B-Que which was decent. The place has a very homey, small town feel which I love....
