Food is ok but super great value. Their sides need some help and if you don't want chips you have to buy a whole new side which makes the meal much more expensive. They should just let you upgrade the chips for a couple dollars more. Also, could do better than 3 options of pie for desert.
A friend and I had a late lunch today. We both ordered the daily special (hamburger steak mashed potatoes, green beans and coleslaw with rolls). Everything was delicious and the service (Tammy) was A-one!
If you go through Verona don’t miss this gem. This is a longtime family owned restaurant with excellent food, a varied menu and prices better than fast food. Portions are large and served hot with drinks refilled regularly.Bring cash as they DO NOT accept credit cards. (At these prices who could blame them😐)
