“I don’t even know where to start when it comes to Shamim and the team at Lotus Productions. They planned my engagement party this past Saturday, and everything was beyond perfect. I have very high standards (I’m definitely a perfectionist), and they somehow managed to exceed every single one. The team handled every detail effortlessly, and they even thought of things I hadn’t considered—little personal touches that made the night feel extra special. We had around 90 guests, and I’ve been hearing nonstop compliments about the party ever since. From the music to the food to the overall atmosphere, everything was flawless. And a special shout out to the bartender Israel who had the most wonderful attitude and never let the volume of requests get to him. Order: 150+ Classic Boxed Lunch’s Company: FedEx Ground - St Paul, Minnesota Fantastic presentation: The Lunch Box was made of high quality cardboard, crisp edges, well branded, easily displaying the contents within. The branded paper box liner was reminiscent of a classic deli tray. High quality food: 1. Turkey Bacon Ranch Wrap First let me mention the presentation. High quality checkered deli paper and finished with a durable cling wrap. Well sealed, and neatly folded to the underside of the wrap. The tortilla itself was a flavorful green spinach wrap that held its shape, pliable, and an upgrade from typical white flour tortillas. The turkey was moist, and freshly sliced. The tomatoes were ripe and firm The lettuce still had a slight crunch. (Leaf only no stems) The chilled bacon was flavorful, without being too greasy and still breaking apart with each bite. 2. Dill Pickle This simple accompaniment was proof of the thought and effort put into each lunch box. Let me explain. * CUSTOM ZIPLOCK PICKLE BAGS! * The little bags were specifically designed for a pickle slice. Sealed up for maximum freshness. Often I’ve seen pickles tossed in a sandwich baggy or leaky plastic wrap, tossed inside sandwich wrap and treated as an afterthought. Not here! My pickle was perfect! 3. Chocolate Chip Cookie The branded paper deli pouch was a nice touch. A true classic chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie. There’s not much to more to say. It was exactly what you’d expect it to be! 4. Classic Lays Potato Chips (Added a dash of Valentina hot sauce from my personal stash) 5. The plastic silverware pack. Here ‘Apple Spice’ included a Quality Black Plastic kit. Well done. All in all. The portion was perfect. My hunger was satisfied. I felt content after the meal. 10/10 will recommend!!“

“If you aren't catering with Blue Zucchini, then you should start now! We found Blue Zucchini online and every colleague of mine asked where the food came from. Food was amazing - absolutely delicious. The vegan & vegetarian sandwiches were as delicious, if not more, than the meat! Delivery was so on time and they were so helpful. The whole process seemed overwhelming at best, and we had no idea where to start. At the same time, we wanted our wedding reception to reflect us as a couple, and for all of our friends and family to have a great time. I had known Vicky since middle school and was a frequent at her family's restaurant in Springfield, so I was thrilled to find out that she has started her own catering and event styling company. Literally everything that the Heirloom team put together, starting with the personal tasting for my husband and parents, to the flower arrangements, tablescapes and small details was nothing short of amazing. The entire staff was completely professional and never missed a beat. I should also mention that there was a pretty bad ice storm the morning of our wedding, which apparently flipped one of the rental trucks and left other vendors stranded, only hours before our event. Vicky sprung into action and not only made sure that everything was on time and in perfect condition, I didn't even HEAR about the whole ordeal until after the night was over. I talked to several other caterers on our venue's list, and not only were they the most affordable, their food was delicious, and they were also the nicest and easiest to work with putting a proposal together. They are a preferred caterer of our venue & we could see why. Xochitl the manager put our minds at rest as soon as we made contact with her. She stepped in many times where our PT coordinator who was acting as if she was just the day of should have - but Xochitl had the upmost patience & professionalism. I had so many questions & she was able to answer all of them quickly. They accommodated our guests with dietary restrictions easily. Everything went to smoothly despite the unexpected windy & drizzling day causing a last minute cocktail hour location change. All of our guests were extremely happy & raved about the crab cake apps, the marinated flank steak, salmon & fingerling potatoes especially. When the rain caused us to have to take our photography session inside, they brought appetizers directly to us twice. We felt so taken care of & at ease thanks to them. “I recently tried Casero Creations delivery service and was blown away by their Salteñas. They are probably the best I've had in the entire DMV area. The dough was made just the right way, and the filling was very well made and tasted delicious. The hot sauce they included was made in-house and was also great, although it may be a bit too spicy for some people. The delivery was on time and overall the service was good, although the communication could be improved. I highly recommend ordering ahead, as in days, since they are made to fill orders usually, may not be available the day you call. All in all, Casero Creations is definitely worth trying for their amazing Salteñas and great service.“

We catered their Rajasthani Dal, Baati, Churma special dishes for our guests in October 2022. it was a super hit. Everybody loved the food. We have also tried other varieties. The food, service, ambience, cleanliness and quality - all are excellent.“

But after the pandemic, barely I saw people going there, since many offices around the area have been gone or are not working full load.Anyway,I went there again to get a coffee, and I notice a new deli/coffee shop business there: now, Capital Cuisine.The owner was there, a polite and friendly gentleman.I got my coffee, and though the price was good, I didn't like the taste that much.The restaurant was sadly empty.Overall, not sure the owner can keep his coffee shop restaurant alive at that location, since again not that many people go there anymore.I think the owner may put more time and budget into local advertising, to grab the attention of the close-by offices/businesses, especially those which are within walking distance, therefore more people may go there and visit his restaurant.“
