“The very best meat, spinach and cheese pies (fattayer) and kibbi, so good I had them at my wedding. I'm as Lebanese as they come, I've been eating this all my life, and hers is simply the best. The dough is unlike anything, thin yet with a flavorful body to it, and the meat spice (get the spicy one if available) and spinach filling just have to be tried. The eggplant salad and cabbage rolls are phenomenal too. Nabila is the sweetest person and the market always has great things. The homemade laban (yogurt) is the best yogurt I've ever had, which we eat with the meat and spinach pies. I always get the mejduul dates and namouurra when they're available.“

“My company has utilized Saint Germain Catering in the past (with great success) and they recently helped us execute another large client event. We were very pleased with all the pre-event planning and coordination (thank you Sabrina!), as well as the food, rentals, and service that Saint Germain and the rental company provided the day of our event. We were especially grateful for the flexibility and expertise of the onsite team assigned to our event (lead by Rafael).

Everyone arrived on time and were incredibly understanding about the unforeseen circumstances we encountered with our building that day (there was construction taking place on the floors above us, and the construction crew shut down the freight elevator that morning and we didn’t realize it until the rental company arrived. Doors were also locked that were supposed to be unlocked so we could move freely through this space). We were able to get the building managers to figure these issues out, and the rental drop-off crew and Rafael and his team were very patient and understanding – and made everything happen on time (despite the high heat and humidity the day of the event, and the delays caused by waiting for the elevators). They adapted to every situation that we encountered with the building (which we are new tenants of and still learning about), and when all the rentals and food were set up, Rafael and his team made sure all our clients were comfortable and well fed (they even took the initiative to move a fully set up table to a shadier spot on our pavilion once they realized it was going to sit directly in the intense sunlight). After the event luncheon, everything was cleaned up and stored away quickly, and the rental pick-up crew was also on time and picked up their items very quickly.

I want to stress that this was our first major client event in our new office space, and we were looking to impress. Saint Germain Catering delivered that and made it look easy (and with a smile). We look forward to working with this excellent team in the future!“

Old Blue has the best BBQ food in the greater DC area - so, that would be enough to recommend them - however, if you are planning an event, you will not believe the quality of the service they offer. Everyone was helpful, had great suggestions, they even shared decorations with us. The day of the wedding was also perfect - they were attentive and seemed to anticipate every need. Literally everything that the Heirloom team put together, starting with the personal tasting for my husband and parents, to the flower arrangements, tablescapes and small details was nothing short of amazing. The entire staff was completely professional and never missed a beat. I should also mention that there was a pretty bad ice storm the morning of our wedding, which apparently flipped one of the rental trucks and left other vendors stranded, only hours before our event. Vicky sprung into action and not only made sure that everything was on time and in perfect condition, I didn't even HEAR about the whole ordeal until after the night was over. I truly don't think we would have even had a wedding had we hired any other company. Justin was my point of contact during the whole process, he’s very responsive and easy to communicate with. He made the whole process so easy.
