This is not the place to come if you have complex allergies. Twice we asked our server to check with the kitchen on simple accomodations (two different simple requests) that would have made the food safe for my wife and twice the kitchen said “no, sorry, we don’t do that”. No effort at all to provide details about ingredients or to assist in any other way with providing a safe enjoyable meal.
Obviously, you wouldn't eat here unless you were going to a concert at the Filene Center. Nevertheless, the food is better than average and the ambiance and convenience can't be beat. Your only real option is the buffet, which is standard barbecue fare. I enjoyed the pulled pork, but found the brisket a bit dry. Being a buffet, both entrees were luke warm rather than hot, but if they were hot, they'd probably both have been dry. The price is a bit stiff for what...
Buffet with all the traditional picnic treats -potato salad, Cole slaw, fried chicken, barbeque and then other fish and chicken choices and plenty of veggies.. delicious desserts and a view of the meadows
