This place is so needed in Vinton! It's always clean, convenient, and open later hours than most places - so when you're ready for ice cream, they're there! The ice cream is tasty and they do a good job balancing a core group of flavors with seasonal offerings too. They also have Homestead Creamery milk to take home! 10/10 recommend!!

New to town and trying lots of new places, and so far this is my favorite. I had the peanut butter crumble on a waffle cone, but it was a tough choice - so many flavors I want to try. The ice cream was amazing - sweet and creamy with amazing flavor, and the waffle cone was fresh. Friendly staff as well. Can’t wait to go back!

Love Down Home. The ice cream is delicious with new interesting flavors coming out reguarly and the staff is always friendly. Only drawback is the lack of outdoor seating.
