Simply put, everything at Pok-E-Joe’s is excellent! The food is delicious with fresh ingredients. They have fried okra and brisket ! The burgers are hand pattied and juicy. All the staff are so sweet and cheerful ! If you pay with cash you get a discount.
Vegetarian options: It’s a BBQ place, if you want veggies they have delicious southern sides and salads.
Parking: The parking is great and there is plenty of it.
Kid-friendliness: Oh yes!
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, double doors coming in/out and a large space to accommodate a wheelchair , inside.

This was our 2nd visit and certainly not our last. The food tonight was delicious !! Our server, Aspen, did an absolutely AMAZING job!! Not only was she waiting tables, she was also bartending. Most times, a server will wear out their welcome, but not Aspen. She was perfectly attentive but not over bearing. She had a great personality and it was very obvious that she not only cared about her customers but she also enjoys what she does. It’s not often you find a server/bartender that good. We will make a point to come back when she is working (which we know is Tuesdays).

Great food and solid service! One of the best cheeseburgers I've ever eaten and that is saying a lot! Not to mention having a couple of solid non-alcoholic beer options! Be back the next time in town!!!
Do not order hush puppies! Ordered them for 9$ was given 8 hush puppies that looked and tasted like the ones from cookout! Bill was 90$ for 4 of us! Pulled chicken and brisket are good tho!

The best BBQ, the brisket is my favorite and the pulled pork is a close second!! But we haven’t had anything from the the menu that wasn’t great!! Megan is the best server, very pleasant, knowledgeable and friendly!!
Seem to get food poisoning almost every time I go to a restaurant, the only thing I ate that day and my colon was definitely unhappy about something in the mix.
