This is amazing. Who knew a little joint connected to a gas station would be so good. This Mexican food reminds me of home in Arizona, not the Texmex most places here serve (nothing wrong with it but not AZ Mexican food). We had the carne asada burrito, Camarones burrito, and rolled tacos. everything was great! The salsa was great! my only request would be for guacamole on the rolled tacos. We will definitely be visiting this place again.

It's always nice to see the cook in the back with gloves on and handling his phone, then right back to work, preparing food. When the rude girls at the register make a mistake on your order, they blame the customer, even if you tip extremely well. They blamed me for not taking my order home, said I forgot it. NO!, you didnt pack it up with the rest of my food! Never going back. Accept responsibility when you're wrong, dont blame it on the customer. I also love when you walk up to the counter and they dont even look up to acknowledge your presence.

STOP here for the best/legit Mexican food you will find for miles! I am floored at everything made fresh and homemade. Homemade corn and flour tortillas, homemade fries and the salsas are incredible. I have lived all over the US and in California and this shop started in San Diego!

Food is better than Chipotle. Almost no people when I come in which is a shame. Wish that I there was an option to order online for pick up but everything is made to to order so can't complain.

One of the best Mexican food restaurants I've ever had! Everything was fresh and very tasty. Food was prepared in a timely manner. We did not wait long for our order. I got the Carnitas taco, so delicious. My partner had a burrito, which was huge and packed with flavor. My son had chicken tacos, full of meat and flavor. The tacos were served with pickled shredded carrots. Yummy! Can't wait to go back! We go to Vinton for a group card game on Mondays and I'd love that we could make that our regular Monday dinner stop. But alas, they're closed on Monday and Tuesday. This is true Calimex food! Definitely worth a stop to try it out! Don't be daunted that it's attached to a gas station!
