We have gone to macado's for years and years. The one in vinton is just very dirty. There's dust hanging on the walls on the pictures. It just hasn't been cleaned in a very long time. The food was really good that had not gone downhill and then the young woman that was waiting on us. She was lovely but my husband who doesn't notice anything even said the dirt on the walls and the pictures and everything make it so it's very unappetizing to want to eat
The food was luke warm when I got it along with not being made correctly. The server was nice but not very attentive. It took about 20 mins to get my potato skins and by the time the server stopped by to check it wasnt worth having it remade. Unfortunately, this isn't the 1st time I've had bad service here.
Since Macado’s turned the old public library where our kids once frequented, we loved the overall decor and what was done to make it inviting. That said, the overall experiences upon each return is rather drab. Nothing stands out that really makes you want to go back other than there aren’t tons of options to have dinner or drinks with friends and families.
