Had a great Americano and small donut at this quaint coffee shop. The atmosphere is great - cute old house with a porch and plenty of cozy outdoor seating. The coffee had floral notes and was sufficiently hot. I’d pass on the donut next time - was just ok. Would happily return and try a latte drink next time.

I love going to Club Pilates.
I have been attending classes there for nearly 4 years. I’ve never had a bad workout. All the instructors are great. They each approach the classes differently and that keeps things interesting! I am so much stronger than I was and don’t have the aches and pains that could be afflicting someone my age.I appreciate that the staff celebrates our personal milestones. I always leave feeling challenged and in a positive mood! Club Pilates is the best thing I can do for myself!

What a hidden gem! Astraea Coffee isn’t just another coffee shop—it’s an experience. Tucked across the street from the Virginia Beach courthouse, this cozy cafe has a fun legal theme with drinks like “The Bail Out” and “Hung Jury” that made me smile. I had the salted caramel iced coffee with cold foam, and it was delicious. The space feels warm, welcoming, and full of character—like visiting a friend’s home who knows good coffee.
Bonus points for the clever tagline on the receipt: “Liberty, Justice, and Coffee for All!” Definitely a must-visit if you’re in the area or just exploring Hampton Roads!

Great atmosphere and location. The girl at the counter seemed to not care, and it was an overall poor customer service experience. I ordered a coffee and went to use the restroom. When I came back, she ignored me for 5 minutes until I asked if the one on the counter was mine. Then, acted like she didn't know, until finally saying it was mine. Please train your staff to be more polite and create a better engaging experience. On the bright side, the coffee was very good, and the outdoor seating provided plenty of areas to sit with shade. Dog friendly, too.

I’m not one to leave negative reviews, especially for small businesses but had a poor experience here. The food and drinks were poor quality and disappointing. We ordered a matcha latte, double jeopardy, avocado bagel and siren call bagel. The coffee was burnt, the matcha just tasted like milk and sugar, and the food is so basic and poor quality for the price. Like an untoasted bagel with avocado on top for $8.00? I’m also extremely disappointed with their use of styrofoam containers for every purchase.
On a positive note, the place is pretty cute and they seem thoughtful with their design, seating and including things for kids.
We may have just gotten unlucky but I won’t come back here. There are so many better coffee shops in the area.

From the ladies behind the desk to our fabulous manager Heidi to all of our teachers I have never had a bad experience. Everyone is kind, helpful and happy to see you when you come in!😀 Not only do I exercise but I have also made many friends. It is a win-win!

The instructors are so helpful and made me feel relaxed after being a little intimated to try this out. Looking forward to getting back in shape with the help of CP
