This is a great little spot to get about an hour in of walking through nature. There is a decent mix of of paved and unpaved trails, cute little bridges over creeks, and ability to hear wildlife. The trails aren't really marked super great once you get into the unpaved section, but if you just keep romping around you'll get back as its a small enough area to not really get lost in. One of the best local parks in the Virginia Beach area, had an amazing time on a Saturday morning. The canopy of the trees definitely keeps. The temperature is low on the trails. As expected, there will be bugs on your visit, there are a few paved and unpaved trails that you can possibly take. Easy, short walking trail, both paved and on dirt. Plenty of shade from the trees. On today’s hike, some of the path needed to be trimmed but we were able to see the path.After our walk, we stopped at the coffee shop located a few yards from the parking lot.
