Great atmosphere and a healthy serving on the Asian chicken wrap! Super cool little place. The brownie was 10/10 also :)

Best Americano since Cacao Cafe in Atlanta . Smooth as cocolat - straight no chaser. Quite a kick, too without the jitters of regular coffees. Shared the lox bagel. Scrumptious and hearty. Missed the whole slice of red onion and thick heirloom tomato but really good lox and a fine cream cheese, capers too on the everything bagel. Totally charming spot to sit out in the wild garden, or inside in very comfy spaces. Never made it back to get some writing done but it Reminded me of the Republic of Berkeley. Nice people. Atmosphere Missing the usual racial tension in Virginia Beach.

Overall, this is a cute coffee shop. However, it is not very wheelchair friendly. There isn't a single parking spot where a wheelchair can exit the side of their vehicle (no diagonal stripes in the parking lot for wheelchair access), and my wheelchair could barely fit in between chairs to make it to the register to order. The lox bagel was pretty tasty, better than other bagels in the area. That was my favorite part of the experience The coffee was a bit overpriced and bland. I would try other drinks there, it's just not easy for me to maneuver around and I have to park in a different parking lot down the street.

I don't know who that cook is but she did her freaking thing up in that kitchen. A1 service too,she even brought my wrap to the room I was sitting in without me even letting her know I was in there....like what!!! Presentation was on point, taste was on point, portion was on point, I 10/10 recommend this place.

I popped in for lunch after a long walk on the trails right by Astrea. I got a chicken Caesar wrap that tasted fine but only 2 bites of it had any dressing. So, that was disappointing since it just tasted like a chicken wrap with raw veggies and no other flavor. I also grabbed a toaster pastry to go along with it. When I got home I realized it was soggy, floppy, and wet. Gnarly. So, if you get one of those pay attention. Service was friendly and fast. The place seems like a cute spot. Not sure if I would try it again though.

Not a place for coffee lovers. If you’re there for a sugary drink and cozy atmosphere, you’d love the vibe. But terrible coffee. Asked for house blend but got flavored coffee twice.

A beautiful hidden coffee cafe. Delicious coffee and bagels inside a remodeled house. Very welcoming and relaxing environment. Friendly staff.

Every time I am in the area, I make it a point to pop in for a quick pick-me-up! This is such a cute coffee shop! Located in a renovated cottage, it feels like you're walking into a friend's home and it's always so comforting to me and super cozy. - Parking -Private lot in the back of the cottage with limited spaces, but spillover parking can be found further down the street. Parking is in the back. - Vibe -The cottage has two floors. Bottom floor has 2 sections for you to sit in. When you first walk in is the foyer/fireplace with a few options for seating, by the bar by the window, a table or a one seater by the fireplace. To the right of the front door is another room with 3 tables,If you walk past the fireplace, you'll find the order counter and where the kitchen is. Upstairs, you'll find a couch and a play area and in the very back, you'll find another more quaint and semi-private room with a few more tables. My fave seat in the house is the table at the top center window. It's so cozy and they've even equipped it with a blanket!Outside, you will find super cute photo ops all over the place. There's even a "LOVE" sign, made of pallets! - Sips and Noms - They carry baked goods from various local vendors. You can find doughnuts, cookies, brownies and today, I found a new baked item, the scones! These are GIGANTIC, and looked like it was baked in a pie dish (it had the form at the bottom). The texture was a bit off for me, so I think I'll stick to the other goodies. As far as drinks go, I've enjoyed the Double Jeopardy latte (my go-to) and hot chocolate. Both great! They also carry handmade goods from local artisans! Love that! Just go out there and hang. Such a great space to work or just meet up with friends. And lastly, but not least, the service is on par with the vibe! The baristas are always so friendly and truly give off the friend vibe. I already feel like I am walking into a friend's home, and they treat you as such! Enjoy, Friends and never stop exploring!

I walked in today for the first time and just the surrounding area and locale of this cozy coffee shop is beautiful! The cappuccino was really good and my lox bagel was so delicious and they did not skimp on capers! You can never have enough. I cannot finish my review without mentioning how friendly the staff is. They’re so kind and helpful and just overall welcoming. Thank you and I will be returning!Kid-friendliness: They do have a really cute Children’s section upstairs and there is a gate for safety!

This place is adorable! it's an old farmhouse and the rooms are seating areas! The staff is so nice and friendly. The coffee was delicious, there were 5 of us and we all loved our coffee. The food was ready very fast and all of it was so delicious. It's in the courthouse district and nestled away near a trail. There's a kids play area too if you need to bring kiddos. There's also a good meeting or college study room upstairs.

Coffee is always amazing (expensive- as they charge 1$ for even just a splash of cream) but good. Food not so much. I got an apple fritter and it was SO dry that I couldn’t have more than 1 bite. Tried another thing - a scone. Told her i didn’t want it warmed up and they did it anyway so it was a hot scone which was nasty and again so dry (i know scones are dry but this was beyond a regular scone) i couldn’t eat it. 5$ wasted. wont be back for food and won’t be back for coffee unless i’m in the area as it is better than the coffee chains. it’s in an old house which is beautiful and there are chairs outside, plenty of tables inside to sit and work/ read at. also fyi- was told some of their pastries are from a grocery store so maybe that’s why they aren’t great- not sure.

Glad I came upon this charming coffee shop when leaving the Post Office! You owe it to yourself to check it out! And, the overnight oats are great!
