I work just down the street from here, and I saw in a local newspaper that Benny's just opened this location. I saw that they had a MASSIVE 28 inch pizza and I was very curious about it. I ordered it and went and picked it up. Myself and all of our staff working that day thought it was absolutely wonderful.

The pizza, again, was absolutely massive in size. It's cut into 8 slices, and a single slice is so large that a single slice (or especially 2) are a meal on its own. The pizza was around $44 with pepperoni if I remember correctly. (It's about $38 I believe if someone orders only a cheese pizza). But it's enough to reliably feed 4-6 adults depending on how hungry they are, so it's a very fair deal in my opinion. Beyond the sheer size, the pizza also tastes very good and they do not skimp you in other ways that you think as a business they might. The pizza is actually fairly thick, and it actually is great tasting pizza, so you truly get your money's worth. It was comically hilarious and an utter, complete joy to slap a single slice of pizza into the microwave as left overs and watch the extremely large slice of pizza spin around the microwave as it's literally hitting the inside walls of the microwave. It's a childhood dream come true and it's completely reasonably priced.

10/10. I would recommend this place to anyone.

A recent visit to their new location im September 2025. Tbis isnt a sit dowm place. This is a place that sells huge slices of ny style pizza and is delicious. One slice is good for an average person.
It s a must visit for us every visit to VaBeach.

This place deserves 6 stars! We were in town visiting and it was some of the best pizza we’ve ever had (in any city). It is HUGE and a great value for families (we fed 6 adults and one child with one pizza).

So very sad to see Benny's On the Ocean close. We really loved the pizza at Benny's. You should be pretty hungry if you order a slice here. It's impressive in so many ways. Have a group to feed, order the big pie.

A wise man once told me, sample the pizza in each area you visit across North America. The love put into the dough and the attitude will tell you all you need to know about the area. I can say for sure Virginia was wonderful to us, and this pizza was spot on 100 percent. Angel was extremely professional and sweet. The toppings were generous, the pie was huge, the crust was perfect on the outside and in ( a sourdough esq crunch with a baked to the perfect doughy center, and the end crust was not burnt or too crunchy, and not hollow ). The slice was similar to New York style pizza in size, but none of the floppy greasy mess. The price was solid for the amount given. Would definitely recommend. Also, just to counterattack the racist review, I’m very white and my name was called to the counter to pick up my pizza. It’s not that big of a deal to have to get your own food, and carrying 4 slices of pizza isn’t some obstacle a human can’t achieve.

This pizza place is half a block away on the boardwalk offering delicious, HUGE pizza slices. The way we were explained- the slice is equivalent to a 14" pizza pie (and I would have to agree)!!
A great team of people work here that provide excellent customer service (and food of course). Thank you Angel, for making our visit just Awesome.
