Bruster's Real Ice Cream

Near the end of covid I went to this ice cream place it is overpriced ice cream but it's the only place my sister can get spicy ice cream for her birthday. The little cashier girl was so rude we were outside my sister was the only one ordering and she had her mask on I did not because we were outside in the parking lot we had to stay 6 ft away from the window she had plexiglass on the window and she had two masks on. My sister had trouble hearing her so I stepped closer to the glass (turning away from her while I spoke my ear was facing her and my mouth was facing away) saying I need you to speak up we can't hear you I asked her to speak up again but she tried to ignore me finally she said I will not speak to you without a mask on. She never put our order in even though we pre-ordered ice cream for my sister because it was special they had to pre-make it and then they would call us to come pick it up they never did and I have never gone back and have no intentions of going back.

Went through the drive through at the Brusters location on Virginia Beach Blvd around 4pm today, asked for a strawberry milkshake, and was told they were "out of milk". This is an ice cream place, I would think you'd maintain your staple ingredients that provide a large amount of your menu. When inasked a second time to make sure if heard her correctly, she just seemed rude , so I left without ordering anything. Love the place, just very disappointed in the service this time around.

ABSOLUTLY in love with this shop excellent service and they always come out with my food in a great amount of time and when anything goes wrong they’re always quick to help me out plus that purple haired girl is so kind and very helpful

Delicious, creamy ice cream! Amazing! Great service and excellent product. They even offer oat milk ice cream. Service was super quick as I was the only one there at 5:45 PM on a Monday.

So there were 3 customers in line including us who were waiting to place an order, and no staff showed up in window to take order. When tried to look through the glasses there was no one inside. Don’t put a OPEN sign when staff isn’t available or is there.

Granted, the servings are very large. But, the prices are a little high. Also, the ice cream is not that great. And, you really can't taste the actual ice cream with the amount of toppoings that are on the sundae. I know I'm complaining that it's too much. But, it is.
The servicde was good. Although I thought it took a lottle long for 2 sundae's to come out with no one else in line.

Placed an online order, only to be left waiting for multiple walk-up groups to come and go. Skip the mobile order and just walk up. The order was well packaged to go. Ice cream was nothing to write home about. Not bad, not great, and the flavor was not super strong. Just okay ice cream.

Ice cream and cones have a good texture, flavors overall are bland, you get lemon and its vanilla with a hint of lemon, same for coconut, cherry, coffee, etc.
