It had been a while since I went to Captain george's, but the food was still good. The only comment on the food was the crawdads were a little salty. However, everything else was great. The crab legs and Oyster Rockefeller where the standouts during my last visit. However, I did have an opportunity to try the brisket and it was better than I had expected. Juicy and very tender! When I told my friends I was visiting Virginia Beach, this seafood buffet was the first place they recommended. Now I completely understand why.
From mountains of hot snow crab legs to shrimp, scallops, clams, and a great selection of meats, this buffet truly has it all. What impressed me even more was how packed it was. Even close to closing time, the restaurant was still full of locals, which says a lot about how popular it is.

Amazing! I don’t usually eat seafood but I had SO MUCH here and everything was so good! Kid chicken tenders took a while, though which was a bit frustrating since everyone else could get buffet asap
