We had a fabulous first time experience dining at Chops during this Restaurant Week. The atmosphere is warm and inviting as we passed by an impressive bar area, and the main dining room lent itself to elegant, but also dressy casual dining. Our wait staff were gracious and attentive. The menu choices, especially for this Week, were a nice variety, and I would recommend the pork chop, with the mashed potatoes and broccoli...yum! We enjoyed our visit so much that we may be back...
The food, service, cocktails, and ambience were all spot-on. The steaks were perfectly prepared and the lobster tail accompaniment was large and a good value. I would go out of my way to dine here again.
I have been going to Chops in Virginia Beach for years, all my experiences at Chops VB were strong 4 Stars, but it appears they have changed their menu and downgraded the steaks, before the Bone in Ribeye cost around $80 bucks just for the meat , now the bone in ribeye is $59 with two sides and the steak is about 8oz smaller, it’s a good steak, but you can get the same plate at Outback for $39.
