Eclectic vibe and interesting food! Loved how Commune takes ordinary food and transforms them beautifully by adding unique spices and flavors. Had the chicken and waffles which included chamomile butter. So fun!

As someone who has worked as a cook and studied food in culinary school in nyc, home to some of the greatest restaraunts, I cannot recommend this place enough. Probably top 5 places I’ve dined at this year. Amazing modern and diverse menu, but everything we ordered was perfect down to the smallest details. Amazing waffles, eggs cooked perfect, syrup real maple, extremely fresh salad greens, good dressing. It’s easy to nail one main dish, but very difficult...

My husband and I were looking for farm-to-table style restaurants around Virginia Beach and this absolutely hit the mark! Almost all of their food is locally sourced within 100 miles — and they have a great menu.
Jamie & Raven were both excellent :) from the delicious food to the service, we were so happy with the entire experience!
