Barrel 17 is my go-to spot whenever I’m at the oceanfront in Virginia Beach. The food is consistently fantastic, the atmosphere is great, and it’s one of those places that always delivers a solid experience.

My usual order is the cheesesteak with onion rings, and it never disappoints. Everything I’ve tried there has been delicious, and the quality has been consistently good every time I’ve visited. Definitely one of my favorite spots in the area.

Barrel 17 was an incredible experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and inviting without feeling overly formal, making it the perfect place for either a casual dinner or a special night out. Every detail felt thoughtfully done, from the ambiance to the presentation of the food.
The food itself was absolutely outstanding. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in quality and consistency....

We stopped inn randomly heard the burgers were good. So it was super busy at 550 pm due to happy hour. We had to sit at a side table and the bartender was doing double duty. So ok, took our order pretty quick for medium well burgers. It took quite a long time and the burgers were well done. The food was really good though and we would try again on a less busy time.
