I stopped here just by chance but the food was great and the portions were huge.

Seemed good when I walked in but all they have is lenti and jerked pumpkin. Mb I'm not spending 15 dollars just to have a pumpkin

Giving thanks for the delicious experience! I ordered yesterday Rasta pasta. My first time having jackfruit..the texture and flavor are on point! Also tried the crab cake dinner which also was full of flavor and fresh. I ordered on Ubereats and was bit skeptical but the food was welled packaged fresh and still hot. Also portions are good. I am happy to find the gem

I ate here for the second time today and I am so happy I did. Between the excellent customer service and the wide variety of delicious meals that are nicely proportioned, I will eat here each and every time I visit VA Beach. Oh, that strawberry lemonade cookie… FIRE!!!

This place is amazing, the food is so good, full of flavor and you can tell she cooks with love. I went 2 days in a row because I wanted to try everything. I had the Rasta pasta (10/10), Krab cakes, collards (10/10), curry chickpeas, cabbage, and the jerk jackfruit sandwich (10/10). Might I say everything was delicious, especially to be vegan.The owner and staff made it feel like we were at home. Great service. I would highly highly recommend everyone to this place. Don't forget dessert 😉

First time trying Desmond’s and it was absolutely delicious! I’ve been Vegan for a little over a year and I’ve struggled finding good Vegan food. Desmond’s has this and some! I’m so picky about my food (♉️), so I have to give props when due.

The food was good, well portioned. They were out of what I really wanted, amongst other things. The entire menu is vegan, which is a plus. Service was a bit slow. I would visit again but probably will call the food in for pickup to save time. Parking is limited. There's a few tables and chairs if you want to dine in. Very open concept so you see the food being prepared. I will visit again to try the menu items I wanted.

This is a perfect blend of seasoning and textures (everything was cooked to perfection.) A+ If I could give 10 stars, they'd have them. Guyanese and Southern cuisine just had a baby!!!!! 😋

The food was A-mazing! The atmosphere had a jazzy soul fusion feel and the service was warm and inviting! Best vegan Rasta Pasta ever! I'm waiting for that Lions mane mushroom steak!!!

Food was great service was horrible. We waited and waited to have our order taken. We ordered drinks that never came. There is one row of tables and loud music. They never brought our check or checked on us throughout dinner. Prices are too high for such poor service.

My mom and I had lunch here and we have no regrets. Everything we ordered was magnificent, so delicious. We have been trying more vegan spots recently and honestly what caught my attention was de GT flag, I ran over so fast lol. It was a bit of a wait but worth every minute. I highly recommend it and we will definitely be by again.
Felt welcomed and the music was definitely what I expected lol. ♥️

Only critique is a bit more communication to your dine in customers, a little “hey everything is cooked to order so it’ll be a wait” “your food is being prepped rn or will be ready on 10/15mins” etc it helps levitate us feeling antsy or inpatient. provide a lil snack, like some chicken foot or cassava chips.

The brown stew jackfruit plate is next level! I got it with the sides of rice + peas and plantain and this combo has such amazing flavors. Highly recommend this dish and all of their food as a whole!
