Be careful booking any events here!! They cancelled my daughter’s wedding via email less than 6 months before her June date. Had it in writing, paid the deposit, and even booked the airbnb on property. Anyone who has planned a wedding knows how far in advance you have to book a venue. Kristina acted as if she was cancelling a dinner reservation and not a wedding! She was so unbothered and had no concern. Her employee admitted they double booked and my daughter was booked first....read full review
Do not support this rude, careless, and unprofessional business!
We booked our June 2025 wedding there over a year ago, and they canceled our wedding with less than a 6 months notice! They informed me of this VIA EMAIL. They completely disregarded us. Esoteric restaurant offers a relaxing outdoor seating area with home-grown foods. The dinner and drinks are excellent, with friendly and attentive wait staff. The restaurant serves a variety of dishes, including truffle fries, Black bean burgers, and Spicy Chicken Sammies. The charcuterie board and wagyu meatball sub with truffle fries received high praise, described as *chef’s kiss*. The outdoor space provides a charming setting, perfect for special occasions such as rehearsal dinners, although some feel the prices are high for the portion sizes and the fees added on top of taxes. The restaurant grows its own herbs and produce, adding to the fresh flavor of the dishes. Staff are known for friendly suggestions, and the atmosphere is highly praised, making it a favorite spot for visitors. The place also offers valet-only parking nearby, which is convenient given the small parking area. Recent reviews highlight the deliciousness of the food, with dishes like scallops, duck tacos, and pork chop praised for their flavor and generous portions. The Tajin Watermelon Salad was described as very tasty with unexpected ingredients. Some customers noted that the beer prices are high, with a 14oz draft costing $14, which feels overpriced compared to nearby breweries. Overall, the atmosphere, friendly service, and great food make it a popular choice, although a few reviews mention concerns about pricing and value.
