I’ve been here twice now and this is hands down one of the best sandwiches in the Virginia Beach area. The ingredients taste fresh and it feels like it’s made with love. The customer service is also awesome. Victoria helped me both times and she goes above and beyond to make sure your experience is wonderful.

Wow! This is such a hidden gem. I’m absolutely blown away by the people and food (and coffee!) here. The ingredients in their food is locally sourced and without any of the bad stuff - those toxic additives. It’s all super fresh and homemade. We just did a cooking class there last night and had the BEST time. We made beef Wellington from start to finish (with Chef Patrick’s guidance), along with some amazing side dishes. Then, he surprised us with a whole platter of homemade desserts. I highly encourage everyone to stop by Foodies for a sandwich, to go snack, latte, fresh eggs and meat, desserts…cooking classes, you name it! 10/10 experience

Took the most amazing cooking class with Chef!! I am gluten free and he was overly accommodating to my allergies and station. I plan to do these monthly now because it was such a fun time, with super helpful cooking tips, an awesome community of people and of course the cleanest most trusted ingredients!! I am so grateful for this spot!

Chef Patrick is the BEST! Not only is the food here absolutely phenomenal, but it’s all sourced locally & as clean as possible. I love getting my pork & eggs & pastries here. The sandwiches are to die for. Better yet, I did a group cooking class and had a blast. I can’t recommend this place enough. One of Virginia Beach’s hidden gems. Can’t wait to see this community grow!

The most delicious sandwiches! Everything was made fresh and tasted so good. Their portions are very generous. So glad we stopped by and tried them. We’ll definitely keep coming back.

We recently gifted our parents a private cooking class through Foodies Local Market, and it was a total hit! They had an amazing time making Beef Wellington from scratch, and what really stood out was how personalized the experience was. They were able to customize the sides based on their preferences, which made it even more special. Chef Patrick was fun, talented, very knowledgeable, and made the whole process exciting for our parents. Not only did they have a great time, but they also learned a new culinary skill with bragging rights! Totally worth the price--highly recommend for a unique and memorable gift or date night!

This place makes you feel like you’re eating at your childhood home. So good. Great people. Highly recommend!!

I’ve gone to 2 classes in the past 2 days because it’s that amazing! The first class was the Meal Prep cooking class, it was very hands on and extremely useful! This class gets you into the mindset that meal prep can be relaxing and fun! The second class we did was the Chopped cooking competition! We had an absolute BLAST! You have free range of the chefs kitchen, timed for an hour, and judged on who has the best dish! The owner, Patrick, is very attentive when asked, easy going and just down to earth! We will definitely be returning for lunch hours and more classes!

Participated in the chopped cooking class they offer and it was amazing. It was a lot of fun and I would suggest to anyone that likes chopped or a show like that to try it out.

This place certainly earns its 5 stars in earnest. The customer service here was unheard of. I ordered a classic sandwich but went without the homemade chips and pickles for not wanting to waste food and when I grabbed a cold side (the hot honey carrots), they went out of their way to heat it up for me!

The decor is tasteful and clearly mindful of customer comfort and experience, the food all made from scratch, even the free water is amazing quality and taste (locally sourced !). You can tell the effort and quality they put into their craft here and with the other offers of cooking classes and community based events, they care for their folks in and out.

We went to Patrick’s cooking class with another couple & it was so fun & absolutely delicious. Patrick is such a wonderful teacher, has wonderful restaurant knowledge & stories. He made the experience wonderful. Can’t wait to go back for lunch this week & try more of his fresh, local food!
