The Gringa De Birria con Consume is my favorite meal. This is by far the best Mexican food in the area. Can't recommend this place enough!

Based on reviews, Taqueria La Patrona - Lynnhaven is easily the best Mexican restaurant in Hampton Roads and Virginia. The food is authentic, delicious, and the best Mexican food found since moving from California. The Birria is amazing, with a huge and tasty portion. Specific meals like the Birria ramen, Flautas de Birria, and birria chile rellenos are highly recommended. Everything eaten makes one do the happy dance. The atmosphere is super fun with music, though it can get a bit noisy. The staff is friendly, attentive, and excellent. The restaurant is clean and very affordable with huge portions and many Vegan options. It is absolutely worth the drive from Norfolk.
