The small family-owned Mexican restaurant provides an amazing upbeat atmosphere with delicious food that is brought out quickly so you were never waiting too long to enjoy authentic cuisine. The staff is always friendly and very accommodating my wife and I are both vegan and they have an entire vegan menu in addition to their normal menu and they have no problem substituting anything. Taqueria la patrona has surprised me with an excellent location to have a taste of home on the east coast. I had the birria tacos con consume, and the choriqueso. Everything came out hot,fast, and delicious. Value was definitely there and Id come back if I was in the lynnhaven area craving some good birria tacos. The gf had the chimichangas and gave her food a solid 8/10.
