Just recently came back from my Philippines vacation and have been craving similar pandesal. I usually go to another Filipino Bakery nearby but their pandesal is not quite the same. Walked into Roela's bakery and was surprised to see how huge the selection is! Their pandesal is very delicious and closer to the ones I've had in the Philippines. When you first walk in, you get that fresh baked bread smell, then the sweetness hits your nose too as you take in the sight of all the food. There's some Filipino sweets/desserts, and also Filipino inspired desserts with ube (purple yam). I was surprised by the choices and can't wait to taste everything when I get the chance.

This place is a hidden gem. Very nice people and the treats are so yummy. Highly recommend the cakes and chocolate chip cheesecake cookies. Just get one of everything. Was first time visiting but definitely going back…..regularly!!!!
