The food was very fresh, from our appetizers coming out crispy and well-prepared to the handmade sushi. The service was great - very attentive and accommodating. It was a great dining experience overall. A great value as well.

This is my usual go to for sushi close and quick since it is right across the street from me and it’s always good and the service is great. But tonight was a different experience. I have been here dozens of times over the last 2 years since I’ve lived here and this is a first. But it was significant enough that I am writing about it. I arrived at 850pm and they close at 930pm Friday nights. Upon sitting the server tells me we close in about 30 min and I said okay I know that and I know what I want: I ordered and my rolls came out to me within 5 min, no sauce on them, none of the usual and could tell it was obviously not freshly made as usual. I ordered a glass of wine and was brought that back, no offer of water at all. Then I was delivered my check with nothing asked if I needed anything etc. Needless to say, she did not get a good tip and honestly didn’t deserve one at all. I was in and out in 20 min tops. Arrived home before they were even closed at 920pm. This is not how you treat customers that walk in to your restaurant just because it’s 30 min before closing. I will not be returning. Just rude and terrible experience. I’ve never ate sushi that fast in my life. Should’ve just gone and got fast food.

Great sushi and service, nice selection between well prepared favourite rolls as well more creative variations and flavours. Nice refreshing salad followed by four rolls, plus extras on the house all excellent and at good value.

First time here and will be the last. Ordered shrimp tempura and gyoza; that was tasteless and the gyoza was still frozen and uncooked. The onion ring on my shrimp tempura was incredibly overcooked. The batter had no taste. Sushi was decent and presentation was nice. My plate had leftover food stuck from previous use. Which is disgusting. Staff was friendly and nice. Quick service. Just food was not the best.

5 star all around! Best Japanese in the area! tempora light and crispy, meals excellent and good portion size, sushi & sushami superb quality and ample fish to rice ratio. I highly recommend this place!

Food is always good, reasonably priced, and the staff is always friendly and courteous. This place of business appreciates its customers, usually giving a free sushi roll with a larger order. We've been coming here for years. Highly recommend!

A great place for sushi as well as cooked items. Plenty of selections whether you want sushi, sashimi, or rolls. All are made to order and the preparation of the fish is how it's supposed to be (if you're knowledgeable about sushi, it's not just about how fresh a fish is because some prep requires curing or marinading, which obviously means at least a day or more before the fish is served). The presentations are beautiful and everything tasted great. If you're not a fan of sushi (again, if you're knowledgeable and are turned off by the 'raw' nature, by US standards it's barely as fresh as that of other countries where they're literally taking the fish out of a fish tank, alive, and butchering it and preparing right then and there) then there are items from the kitchen like Teriyaki or Tempura or even Katsu. The staff are polite and professional. They are following current respiratory hygiene guidelines. Recommended.
