Fusion is now Solete. It is still the restaurant located inside the Sheraton Oceanfront hotel at Virginia Beach. We enjoyed great service and great food. We shared the Southwest Spring Rolls appetizer. I had the Turkey club and sidewinder fries and my husband had the Crab cake platter with double garlic mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious and we had souch food left we have enough for lunches tomorrow too. The unsweetened tea was very strong, but other than that everything was perfect!

The hotel Sheraton Oceanfront has lousy management and the facilities as a whole were lacking in cleanliness, courtesy, and accommodations. We will not be back to stay there! The manager would not even step out of the office to address an issue with me personally and left it to the girl at the desk to tell me "Too Bad - we ain't doing nothing about it for you!" Fusion, however was the bright spot. As a guest and with COVID restrictions still in place, we utilized the restaurant for breakfast every day of our stay, and a couple others in our party visited the outdoor bar at the pool. In the restaurant, they were severely short-staffed, and while the frustration was evident among the wait staff and servers, all but one made us feel very welcome and appreciated. They did their best and their effort to do so is worth mention and praise! The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Our entire party did feel empathy for the staff of Fusion as they scrambled to make sure all patrons were properly ad promptly attended to and served. We personally expressed our gratitude both verbally and monetarily to the Fusion staff that served us daily. The hotel we will never be patron of again, but you can guarantee we will be back to Fusion for a meal next time we are in town!

I went there as a change of pace from our hotel food. The copied menu was limited to approximately 4 entree, the appetizers were limited. Ordered the chefs choice cut, medium rare and the plate was a hot mess. The steak was on top of the vegetables, soggy, mashed potatoes on the bottom, all covered with pool of what looked like butter. The steak was not cool red but actually brown not due to being well done. Unedible....the take out ordered was the turkey club that had one slice of deli meat. The raw carrots were old, white and dehydrated. Only good thing was the waiter. Warning ....do not go, it was awful.

First off I want to say thank you to Chef Richard Mason and his staff for providing us with excellent service. My husband wanted to have a night for his birthday. So we decided to stay at the Sheraton. It needs updating but they are renovating. Covid has put a stop to things. So back to my review of the food. The decor is a mix of 80s/90s but again they are renovating. The food: First we started off with our side salad. Their side salads are big. Next, I got the airline chicken with balsamic dressing, mashed potatoes and asparagus. Delicious. My husband got salmon. It was delicious. Then once we were done with our dish he got a birthday cake. We were not expecting it and it was a nice surprise. Jessica was a great server/bartender. I also would like to note that because of Covid they are on a limited menu. So if you stop in at Fusion it is NOT full menu right now. They open at 4p for dinner.

The restaurant was empty when we arrived, and it took a while to find any staff. we were surprised to find that the menu was an abbreviated version of the menu we had seen online. However, the server was very friendly and helpful, and the crab cake sandwich was filling and tasty. We appreciated the happy face on the bun!

The service is slow because the waitress/waiter are expected to handle and deliver room service also along with waiting on the dining room. The management doesn't inform them of this when they get hired so they are blindsided .constantly delivering room service going up and down the elevator along with taking care of dining room customers who have to wait for drink refills. So stupid.

Not wanting to walk to find dinner after the busy day. We decided to give our hotel restaurant happy hour a try. We got their wings, which were plump and delicious and the fish tacos were very good as well. Price was fantastic! Service was great and bartender Andy made me an excellent strawberry margarita on the rocks and I dont even drink on the rocks, I drink frozen! We'll definitely be back

It is a nice collaboration of casual and contemporary elegance. It has the most amazing view of the Beach in a relaxing, quiet atmosphere. The menu has a little bit for everyone and even offers vegan choices. It also features one of the best "happy hours" at the oceanfront with very knowledgeable and professional bartenders.

Great experience for a wedding rehearsal dinner. We were there early evening October 18, 2019. The service was excellent as was the food. Food was hot. It was a little loud but we were an enthusiastic crowd. Very nice ambiance and clean. Would definitely go back.

Our family has gone to the Thanksgiving Day buffet for the past 4 years (this year will be the 5th year), and all of us , kids and all, love it. It's bright, cherry and the staff is wonderful.

Tony at the lounge his service was impeccable and his drinks wonderful. Fusion Restaurant needs help..menu.. the breakfast menu boring.. simple egg dishes... no eggs Benedict choices.. no breakfast seafood choices ( like an oysters Rockafeller’s) the appetizer menu not impressed. Did not eat dinner there because the other menus did not impress me. Menu wise they need to step up there game to compete with other restaurants around hotel.
