We visited Mannino’s on a recent trip to Virginia Beach. It was one of the restaurants our hotel recommended. There were many Italian restaurants and we were not necessarily looking for that, but we went because we didn’t k on where else to go. What a pleasant surprise. It’s an award winning restaurant, and exceeded all expectations. It was fresh, handmade and authentic. You do need a reservation, but we made ours the day before and were able to go while on our trip.
Amazing spot with excellent service and spectacular flavor. Crabtini is out of this world delicious. Penne a la vodka was the best I’ve ever had!! Liz was wonderful! Thank you! 10/10 recommend.

The restaurant decor could use a refresh. The service was exceptional, both the receptionist and our server, Noel, were great! The crab mini appetizer was so delicious. Full of crab and shrimp served in a martini glass. The local oysters were fried to perfection. The batter was light with just the right of crisp. My husband was not as satisfied with his she crab soup.
