Delicious food and great service! The She Crab soup was incredible, the mozzarella and tomatoes were extremely fresh, and the pasta was solid! The atmosphere is what you would come to expect from an older building near the oceanfront, nothing pizazz, but I would come here again just for the food.

The restaurant decor could use a refresh. The service was exceptional, both the receptionist and our server, Noel, were great! The crab mini appetizer was so delicious. Full of crab and shrimp served in a martini glass. The local oysters were fried to perfection. The batter was light with just the right of crisp. My husband was not as satisfied with his she crab soup.

We visited Mannino’s on a recent trip to Virginia Beach. It was one of the restaurants our hotel recommended. There were many Italian restaurants and we were not necessarily looking for that, but we went because we didn’t k on where else to go. What a pleasant surprise. It’s an award winning restaurant, and exceeded all expectations. It was fresh, handmade and authentic. You do need a reservation, but we made ours the day before and were able to go while on our trip.

Older establishment with a rep of authentic Italian food.I wasn't impressed.I'm a people watcher and watching the interaction of the staff with each other it seemed stressed.The atmosphere wasn't authentic at all. It was old,and they played country music.The food came out quick. Real quick and it tasted like it was ready for hours. The bar tender was nice enough, but she didn't care if you stayed or went.Let's talk about the food.My simple pasta dish was all tomatoes. Like the whole can and yes the entire can. I have receipts.The chicken picata my guest chose was pale and and well watery. Again I have receipts.I can't say I would ever go there again. The martini we had was good and the props we gave to the bartender was like yeh I know. There was no personality and no care of customer service.We did not ask for a discount but it was evident we did not like our food and the bartender did discuss that in our behalf and gave us a discount of $6 off.Thank you.Please for those locals, this is not the place. And for guest it's expensive for what you're getting.Good luck!
We were sitting next to a large party and the tables were so close that we could hear all of their conversation . We were tucked in a corner next to the window and it's almost like our waitress forgot we were there. We asked for lemon and drink refills which came when we had finished our meals. Lags between table check ups. The food was very good but the service not that great.

Our server was great at keeping us informed even though they were extremely busy. I thought they were understaffed for the crowd they had. Service was slower than on previous nights.

The food was excellent! Really wasn't expecting much. The pics on the website do not really represent how great the food was! And our server, Devon, was great as well. Very Happy we ended up going there! Can't wait for lunch tomorrow. I highly recommend this place.

We went on Valentine’s day and had a reservation for 7pm. We got seated around 7:10pm and our waiter took our order around 7:30. He did not ask us how we were or gave us his name. He just asked “what do you want?” and by this time we were just ready to order everything. Appetizers came out maybe after half an hour then we finish them maybe 15 after. We waited until 9 o’clock for food and it never came so we walked out and left. We left however much cash for the appetizers on the table but we saw other people getting their food before us that got there 30 minutes ago while we’ve been sitting here for 2 hours. Our waiter was sort of avoiding us the entire time and asked if we needed boxes. I told him “yes for my appetizer but we haven’t gotten our food yet.” and he said “oh right….” and just walked away. We left. It was horrible service, horrible wait time, the food was good but definitely did not make up for the frustration of waiting for the entrees. Mind you, we both just got fettuccine alfredo. The other couples around us were extremely frustrated as well. It was absolutely ridiculous because it wasn’t that busy to be waiting 2 hours for entrees.
