Food was cheap and about as good as expected for a dive bar. Came here on a Friday night and there was only one waitress, one bartender, and one cook. Needless to say, it was severely understaffed. Service would have been fine otherwise.
Walked in on a Monday night after I was looking for a bite to eat and found this place nearby.
The Monday night special is “Mexi-Mondays” which has $1.50 beef tacos, $3 fish tacos, and $3 Corona/Modelos. If you are used to authentic tacos this is NOT the spot. Although these were gringo tacos I was surprised at the quality of them! Wasn’t disappointed.

Good Mugs is my favorite, local, it's late, I'm hungry, I dont feel like cooking place to go. We have been there many nights after working late. The food is great and comes up quickly. The price is surprisingly reasonable in this economy. The waitstaff is friendly. You can sit at the bar or there are tables and booths. There are a lot of tv's and a jukebox. CXB needed a place like this! Bravo to the owners!
