I love this place, we enjoy setting outside. The food is well prepared, by that i mean is not fat saturated like other places. Servers are nice. Prices are good. I have noticed we thr check comes a few dollars less that when we go to some other mexican restaurants in the area for the same type of meal.
We had such a great experience at Gran Patron while visiting VA Beach! The food was absolutely amazing and every staff member was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We’re from Long Island, NY and were visiting family in the area, and they truly made us feel right at home. Everything from the service to the atmosphere was excellent. Couldn’t recommend this place enough — we’ll definitely be back next time we visit!
I can’t really comment on the service of the atmosphere because I ordered to go but the fajitas were a joke. They forgot the salad (or maybe I just assumed it would come with lettuce and pico and sour cream) and the fajitas themselves were literally just chicken and tomatoes, no peppers, onions or seasoning to be found. I had to pay extra to get rice AND beans with my $25 fajitas. Total ripoff, you can get better fajitas anywhere, and probably pay less for them.
