Food is OK for a beach front restaurant. The bartenders were too busy with their conversations. Automatically added 20% tips in the bill. After seeing that I took pics of the check and gave her a look, she took it off the bill. The place is dead. There was just another couple at the bar and us there for dinner. The other restaurants on the boardwalk were packed on Friday night. Now I know why that is.

I recently dined at what turned out to be the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. It started with my son trying to order a steak, only to find that we couldn't get it cooked medium rare—a huge disappointment. But when the steak came out it was well done and fatty.
The server automatically added a 25%! They mentioned it was in fine print on the menu, which feels very misleading. It was only 3 not a party!
To top it all off, the food was terrible. I honestly think a fast food meal at McDonald’s would have been a better choice. Save your money and time—avoid this place at all costs!

Food was okay. My flatbread was overcooked. Service was slow for noon on a Sunday with 2 tables occupied and 2 servers. The worst part was that they charge a credit card fee and 20% service fee on a 4 top ,which is whatever, but the service fee is added on after taxes and fees. So a $58 meal charged almost $15 extra. I am guessing the server probably doesn’t even get it all. I wish I had looked at the reviews before choosing this restaurant. I’ll think twice before blindly choosing a restaurant in the hotel for convenience.

Great and friendly servers. That is 100% the only positive. Drinks were meh. I would be embarrassed as an owner, server, or cook to prepare the food, let alone serve it. The fish was puny and over-fried, flatbread was flat, and even my kid thought the desert was sickly sweet. The owner should be ashamed. Drinks were fine. Prices as you would expect for the beach. Auto-grat on a 3 top? Criminal. As locals, we won't be back.

This restaurant is over priced and portions are tiny. I paid over $42 for only six over-salted chicken wings, about 2 oz of tortilla soup and a drink. I laughed when I saw how small the soup was. It barely filled half of the tiny styrofoam takeout bowl. Plus they added a tip to the bill without my consent. I would never recommend this restaurant. Oh and the ginger beer in my mule was flat.

***UPDATED REVIEW**** Okay… I officially moved from 1 star to 5…. Here’s why: Shay Horst became the new manager this week. She made fantastic changes to the staff and menu and prices and kitchen.
She has changed the entire vibe of the restaurant. I love it now!

I was taken by surprised when I was forced to pay 18% tip on my takeout order of 3 kids meals. When I confronted the server and manager about it, they said it’s normal in the Virginia Beach area for restaurants to add 18% tip to takeout orders. Obviously, they’re lying. I’ve never had an experience where restaurants adds 18% tip just to bag your food. I’m outraged and disgusted that the restaurant owner allowed this.

got crab legs noticed it was on the cheaper side was aware of this just came into the hotel. We're very very hungry. The first thing you think of when you go to the beach is getting seafood lol so bartenders decided to take an order. Switch off to another bartender to just complain about someone leaving and not getting tips. The crab legs were insanely the smallest crab legs I've ever had never had to Worked so hard for still little cab meet I asked for a Old Bay never got it. I want to say everyone was kind aesthetically beautiful but never come back again maybe for a drink
