Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken & Wings

Awful awful chicken. We ordered an 8peice meal. We had to wait almost half an hour. When we got home we realized it was missing items. Rather than bother with it we just ate....the chicken was obviously just refried old chicken. Dry and gross. The breading was terrible, flour and oil. That was the flavor. With so many other chicken places it's astonishing they could be this bad.

Very good atmosphere and very clean. Plenty of space. Chicken has great flavor and everything from hot 🔥 to I can't feel my lips spice. Service is self order so and you pick when called so more of a self service.

They forgot the sauces that I paid extra for, the chicken was amazing but the lack of sauce I paid extra for made me sad.

Tried Hangry Joe’s at this location after having a great experience at the Norfolk one—big mistake. The chicken barely had any sauce, and the flavor was bland. Worst of all, the food upset my stomach and gave me the runs. Definitely not the same quality as the Norfolk location. Disappointed

I had the chic n sandwich which was huge but not anything special and my husband had the wings and which were tough which usually means not cooked enough. Not sure we would return but the service was great

I love chicken and I’m highly upset I had very high hopes and first bite I knew I messed up the flavor is not good kinda juicy i don’t even know how u mess up fries the best thing about this meal was something they couldn’t control and that’s the Pepsi I ordered I don’t even do reviews but I think im about to start because cooking ain’t for everyone have a blessed day …..

As someone who enjoys spicy food, their highest level of spice is no joke. Haven't cried and sweated from eating spicy food in a while. Food was fresh and portions is good. Wish I had a bigger fountain cup from the heat though 😂

Ambiance: 5 for Casual, easy kiosk for self-service ordering, dine in area seats approximately 25. Clean, bright.

Service: 3 , I didn’t get greeted when I came in, even after I placed my to go order via kiosk, the staff just smiled. Food seems to go out to people who opted for dine in, but unceremoniously since it’s not a full service restaurant per se.

Food: I ordered the (mild). Chicken sando, soy garlic. Maybe my point of reference are the Korean soy and garlic at other other places like Cx Chicken or Bxxchxx but these didn’t have the soy garlic taste and it’s soggy! The to go packaging was good, they had a hole in the styrofoam box lid to vent out steam, the Sando was tucked into the paper wrap so you can conveniently grab it without messing your hand up.

Delicious restaurant with great service. Both locations I have been too have had great service as well as food. The chibap (new to their menu, from what i understand) is simply fried chicken with spicy garlic sauce and rice. Very good!

Ordered a spicy sandwich and chicken waffles. I love the hot sauce and my wife can't tolerate spicy. I asked if chicken and waffles were spicy. I was told NO they weren't. YES they were spicy. My wife couldn't eat them. I will eat her order later on and YES they are spicy. Food was great but I won't be back. Maybe there was a language with the counter guy.
