This is my first time leaving a review for a restaurant but it is well deserved. I made reservations and arrived right on time and we were welcomed by two lovely ladies at the door. They seated my husband and I as it was our anniversary and wanted to go somewhere nice/new. I will admit I gave 4 stars for service instead of 5 due to the fact that we waited 10-15 minutes for a waiter/waitress as there was a misunderstanding and they were unaware we hadn’t been serviced yet. I’d also like to point out the manager was aware and felt extremely bad so she gave us our drinks and appetizers for free. I honestly was more than appreciative as I was certainly not expecting that at all but she was so sweet for doing that for us. Now as far as food goes, it was delicious . I had the seared sea bass and my husband had the fried Snapper and mannnnn was his Snapper delicious . Granted my dinner was great too but his not only looked good but tasted amazing !! 9/10 highly recommended

Heirloom is a wonderful restaurant that really caters towards an upper-casual vibe. Compared to some of the other premier restaurants in the 757, I’d say this one is more family friendly than others like ilo or Blanca.
The service was wonderful, the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Honestly, it was some of the best service I’ve received at a restaurant.
The food is really good! We had the pork bao buns, tico tacos, fried shrimp, the creole catfish, and a chocolate bear claw gallete. The portions were very generous, the food was fresh, and each dish was executed very well. My reasoning for 4 stars instead of five, is primarily that it is just really good. If you are looking for something more decadent or innovative, there are other places that cater to that more, but they do not match the upper casual friendly setting that Heirloom offers.
I would definitely recommend this place to any and all for some great food, excellent service, and a lovely non-pretentious atmosphere.

We came for our 15 year anniversary. Absolutely amazing experience! Will definitely come back every time we are in VA. Service and food were immpecabl. Experience it for yourself, you won't regret it!!

A great restaurant! In-laws took us here for dinner. We had Mexican street corn (very savory, not sweet with a little heat), scallops, and cornbread (with raspberry butter) for apps. Crab cakes, fried whole red snapper, and Sea Bass for dinner. Peach cobbler, carrot cake bar, and some special buttermilk gelato with chocolate ganache inside and some fruit drizzle. IT WAS ALL FANTASTIC!! Cameron did a great job waiting on the table: patient, helpful, and very attentive. It's expensive and a little loud at times, but not too boujee. Upscale casual, farm-to-table dining. Will definitely go here again!

I heard great things about Heirloom but never dreamed those sentiments would a down play on what we received. The food was fabulous! Every bite was a delicious morsel to savor. Our server was perfect not overbearing but wonderfully attentive. We couldn’t have had a better night. Thank you, Heirloom, for the perfect night!

I have lived in Virginia Beach for over a decade and this is by far the best restaurant I have been to. The variety of flavors in their entrees are amazing. In addition their burbon and specialty drink selection is impressive 👏. I am truly impressed and look forward to my next visit.

Ok... the level of skill in putting together flavors... the presentations... the unique pairings of foods... new tastes... the SERVICE AND ATTENTION... ALL AMAZING. It had a home cooked feel but with the freshest ingredients. I recommend the happy hour daiquiri, she crab soup, yellowfin tuna, crème brûlée, and ask if the have the cucumber agua Fresca. 🤌

Heirloom is a great place for a nice, enjoyable, slightly expensive dinner. It is SSOO worth the extra dollars! Everything was delicious but was the burger was exceptional! Highly recommend.

Overall, was a very nice night out! She Crab soup and fried chicken were standouts, definitely recommend! The crab cakes were good, but the potatoes with it were dry and bland. For the price, I would not order again. The desserts we tried were good (crème brûlée and peach cobbler) as well. Service was great, very informative and attentive.

This was our first visit to Heirloom, but it certainly won't be our last. From the moment you walk through the door, it's obvious that your presence is appreciated. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious.
