We went to join the happy hour crowd at the bar. Seating is very limited so we went early. Although there were empty chairs at the bar they were being held, saved for individuals not present. I’m talking about 3-4 empty seats being “reserved” by a single individual for people not present. We’ve gone three more times with the same result. If you offer limited seating it should be first come first served.

This was my first time dining at Heirloom and it certainly will not be my last. The atmosphere is very cute, reminds me of farmhouse chic. I had the She crab soup for an appetizer and it was amazing. I was pleasantly surprised at how much jumbo lumps of crab were in the soup is very delicious. I got the chicken thigh and plantain special for the night and it was amazing and although I was very full I decided to try the creme brulee for dessert and I'm so glad that I did It was one of the best I've ever had. I will see you above and beyond service from Meredith and Hannah, they both made it an extremely pleasant experience and gave great suggestions. I look forward to coming back in the near future!!!Parking: About 50 shared with other business

One of the best places to eat at Virginia Beach . The she crab soup is amazing with chunks of crab meat. The staff is friendly. They have nice menue and good appetizers. Prices are reasonable for what You get. Must visit You won't be disappointed.

Always an amazing experience. I love that we always get a little surprise from the chef. Tonight, our surprise was puréed cauliflower and parsnips with a little piece of toast and sauce. We started with the steamed shrimp appetizer and the oysters Rockefeller. Both were amazing. The shrimp were the best steamed shrimp I've ever had. They were large and plump. The oysters came with little baby bottles of Tabasco sauce and were just so cute. For dinner, we shared the snapper. It's so amazing and we always get it when we come here. Sometimes we get our own, but tonight we shared. Idk what they put on the outside of the fish, but it's amazing. Def one of my top three places to eat. It's always clean and welcoming and the service is always so friendly. Last night, we had Michael and he was a pleasure.

Remarkable experience from start to finish.Service was attentive without being intrusive or overwhelming. Staff were professional, knowledgeable, and poised. Ambiance was attractive, approachable, and on the cozy side of soigné.The first notable event of our night was the arrival of two perfectly executed Negronis. This is a big deal. Kudos to the bar team.The second, and most impressive, was the tuna poke. A dish or one of its variations that is so often a redundant, mediocre menu-filler was, at Heirloom, extraordinary. The quality of the tuna was unmatched; impossibly fresh with a rich mouthfeel and a firm, buttery texture. The composition was simple and balanced, allowing the tuna to confidently shine.The duck breast was gorgeous. Chef recommended medium rare, which came out a bit more rare than to my personal preference in the very center, but the dish itself was absolutely beautiful in every regard.We rounded out our meal with the carrot cake dessert. Light, ethereal, and well-presented.I was especially pleased to learn that it is owner-operated by a local family, and look forward to becoming a frequent flyer.Five stars.

It was an unplanned mini-date night with my husband, but it turned out really well. We were seated right away and our polite server made sure everything ran smoothly. For drinks, I chose a crowd pleaser similar to Aperol spritzes but based on lavender and Prosecco. My favorite shrimp appetizer was perfect for sharing, and we both loved the main course of deep fried whole red snapper which came with complementary sweet rice and plantain! Our impromptu date night at this restaurant proved successful due to prompt seating, attentive service, delicious drinks reminiscent of Aperol spritzes, flavorful shared shrimp appetizers followed by mouthwatering deep fried whole red snapper as the main dish accompanied with sides that complement each others. Different we find another favorite place for date night!

My sister , my mom and i were so excited to give this place a try for our girls night but needless to say it was a waste of time . Food was average .Tried my sisters she crap soup had a terrible after taste . I got oysters and 6 shrimp and glass of champagne and spent $100 and some change after tip . The service was amazing but the restaurant needs to improve the food for that price point

Fantastic as our server Kelly I believe her name was did an EXCELLENT job as it was my daughter and I's first Daddy-Daughter dance date and the staff here went over the top to treat my daughter like a queen and for that I say Thank You! Great Job!

A friend and I came to Heirloom for my birthday. Reservations were made for 6:30pm, but waited around 20 minutes to be seated. I was a tad bit irritated from the delay. However, the food was amazing!! The red snapper and heirloom shrimp was phenomenal.
