My dinner wasn't what I'm used to (veal francoise- too wet for my liking; sent it back), but the service was exceptional- Alex P was a fantastic waiter. Four stars based on the service alone.

We prefer the location on VA Beach Blvd (called Little Neck, I believe). It’s larger, more casual and the servers are more friendly than the ones at the oceanfront.

Enjoyed the family dinner for 4 tonight which included Chicken Piccata, Rigatoni Il Girardino, Caesar Salad and our Italian bread. A little more bread would have been nice. Will ask for additional bread the next time we order. Called the order in and it’s was ready when we drove up. We were met in the parking lot by a very nice lady who asked our name and returned with our order. Couldn’t have ask for better service.

Ordered a full sheet Napoleon cake for my husbands birthday party. Total rip off. After paying $52 the cake was more like a quarter sheet - reached out to the restaurant but nobody bothered to contact me. So embarrassing.

Patrons were on the older side, but the food was pretty good. The steak and lamb were blandly seasoned. The drinks were great and the Italian food was great.

Very good Italian restaurant tucked away from the view. I highly recommend Capellini Al Salmon. The pizza del giardino is very good also. Just remember to park around back.

Weak, feeble and lame is how far down this once fine restaurant has come. Seated and served mozzarella and jarred red peppers with two black olives and a half a teaspoon of capers for $14.00. Really? Next to arrive pasta dishes. Manicotti with a sweet almost ketchup flavor appeared. Cheese could not overcome the syrup taste. Linguine with clams were served--so over cooked that they had the consistency of rubber bands. Hey, when the are done, that is cooked opened up don't cook them any more. Take them off the heat and serve them. Saving the worst for last rigatoni pasta presented. This dish was clearly leftover pulled out of the refrigerator and microwaved and put on a serving plate. The sauce had gotten too thick. You could at least have added some water and put it in a pan to look like you made it fresh. This restaurant when it first arrived years ago was one of the best. It's sad to see the silliness that they are now serving. There are many more Italian restaurants with atmosphere, service and serious selections here in town. Drive on by, don't stop, don't park, don't get out, keep going. You don't deserve this abuse.

Best kept secret in Va Beach--which is good for the consumer but not so much for the business!! This location is actually open at 11:00AM daily though Yelp and the company website don't seem to know this. We had the joint all to ourselves for almost an hour on our most recent visit. As always, our server, Pierre, provided wonderfully attentive service and the food was fantastic. The atmosphere in this location is perfect-comfortable padded, circular booths, nice linens and intimate lighting with Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin serenading in the background - elements that all make for a great dining experience. If you arrive between the hours of 11:00AM - 2PM, you, too, can see what it's like to be in a fine establishment with one-to-one service!

Ok so 2 stars not so good - it was a busy Friday night but evaluating staff should be used to busy popular Fridays? I sat at the full bar, several people were working the bar and I had to wait just to get a drink, at least they should serve a drink rather than having me sit there twiddling my thumbs - and I was solo, so not there for a long leisure meal, salad came it was fine except why serve it with huge foot long lettuce leaves that takes me forever to cut up? that is a pet peeve in general - but my pasta dish with salmon pieces in a pink sauce was shocking at this restaurant that has had a decent reputation- although this is their newer location- my pasta was in a big glob - extremely hot and overcooked it's as though it was microwaved for 10 minutes it had sooo much sauce it was like a soup! I asked for peas and pancetta to be added, glad I did because it would have been only salmon chunks in a soupy sauce, but the pancetta was fatty and yucky, it was one of the worse pasta dishes I've ever had, they never offered me bread and it took forever to get their attention for parmeson, and never offered me cracked pepper as they did others- yet they asked the couple sitting next to me how they were doing but never looked my way. I almost sound paranoid but I'm not exaggerating and with my 1 glass of wine and a dry chocolate cake to go it was a $70+ tab including the 20% tip. Bottom line service bad and meal bad

Nice little Italian restaurant nestled into the heart of VA Beach. I had the Calamari (good), Chicken Parmigiana (average) and Cannoli (basic).
