Johnny Mañana's Boardwalk Cafe and Tequileria

Right on the boardwalk with nice views of the ocean. Food was good and above average but not an authentic taco spot. Service was good. Overall a good spot for lunch at the beach.

Gross. The drinks had fruit flies frozen into the ice. The burrito was completely tasteless and dry. The service was truly the worst. This place is bad even by oceanfront tourist restaurant standards and that bar is low. The prices are ridiculous.

Stopped in for lunch during a trek on the boardwalk. The waitress couldn’t have been nicer. The fish and shrimp platter was a great portion for us to split and tasted great! I’m glad we stopped there.

The food was amazing. Our waitress was so friendly and provided wonderful service and conversation. Food was absolutely delicious, with large portions and reasonably priced. A family of 3 with an appetizer was around $75

Wanted to love this place as it’s right on the beach. Maybe it was an off night but ordered food with 2 other couples. One couple ordered last and got their food first. Next couple got theirs but it took so long the other couple was already finished, we never got ours. Even asked about it numerous times. Finally ended up telling them to forget it and left. You also had to ask for a key to use the restrooms (attached to the hotel) and they were beyond disgusting.

Always a fan of boardwalk seating, this place was close to our hotel and offered a great view of the beach.
I ordered the salad with blackened mahi - it was delicious and full of tasty veggies. The fish had plenty of seasoning and was sliced up.
The quesadilla here is also good. The ingredients may turn away some people but the black olives and jalapeños were a surprisingly good addition.
We also got the fish tacos - another delicious entree, the fish and toppings paired perfectly.
If you’re looking for kids food- the fried shrimp was delicious and they give you a good portion. The fried chicken was nothing special, but the fries were a stand out!
The Johnny Rita here was nothing special, if you’re looking for a margarita, it’s a solid option!

Staff is absolutely AMAZING! Had a great night out. The bartender Mike is so kind and made incredible drinks. We had a great conversation.. he is absolutely wonderful! Will be returning when we are in town soon. Loved the atmosphere and live music! I highly recommend Johnny's! There is amazing ice cream next door, too! Great experience! Thank you!

AMAZING fish tacos, solid service, good music. The bar doesn't serve frozen drinks which was a little disappointing for a full bar. Overall, delicious and pleasant experience.

We were there for like 5-10minutes before our server came over and barely came after that. We only stayed because we had a gift certificate, otherwise we would have left.

Before we left, my wife was complaining how greasy the food was and later on that day she got sick.

Gutted, my husband and I were enjoying a lovely drink (great margaritas!) and we were having a private conversation- about a fly that had been chasing me around all day. A server walked past and berated us both quite loudly asking us what we expected; there was an open window and there was nothing they could do about flies. We weren’t commenting on the bar and have quite honestly never experienced a telling off from bar staff before. Not a great experience when on holiday. Shame for the other staff as they were lovely. Hopefully an honest review might help this place take into consideration how to treat customers. ?
