Favorite boba tea place in Virginia Beach! I love a fruit tea and Joyu has a wide and delicious selection of fruit teas. They also have a great variety of milk teas, coffees, and slushes. My personal favorite is the Aroma Grapefruit tea with lychee jelly, with 25% sweetness. It's so refreshing and not too sweet! The atmosphere here is also adorable, and the service is always very good!

This little slice of quiet heaven is really nice. I went on a Saturday and wasn't packed. They do only have one pad to order, but you can go to a cashier if you know what you want. I got the chocolate milk tea! Very good and chocolaty. The croffle stole the show! Omg! First bite, and I was in love! The croffle is flaky and has a nice fluff to it. I ordered mine with matcha cream, strawberries, toasted coconut flakes, Nutella, and chocolate drizzle!! Swoon* Of course, they have their own creations you can choose from if its too much to figure out what you want. Staff was cool. If you need help, they could assist you! There is also games on the table if you really looking to chill. I am definitely going back and bringing friends! Come visit!!

Ordered 3 drinks for delivery. The plastic cups had the nastiest smell. And it was strong... all three smelled like old sponges when they start to smell. The drinks itself smelled normal but something was awful about the cups they served Idk if they wiped them with something dirty? I don't think it was from the delivery person. I've never experienced this ever. Never getting it from there again.

This is actually my husband and I’s go to spot for boba. We love it here until this past Tuesday when we picked up our ultimate fav, the JoYu brown sugar fresh milk. The foam was overly salty and the flavor wasn’t there.. like the sweetness was there on the first sip then after it was underwhelming (yes we mixed it). My husband went to ask to fix the drink when the guy just put a few pumps of sugar syrup. We’re hoping it was just an off day.. but this was the worst we’ve experienced customer service and drinks that day..

Very creative menu with endless options!! The staff could use a bit more personality if im being honest. They all seem just, angry really. I don't think ive seen any of them smile every time I go in there. BUT, the tea is delicious! I love that you can customize your drink. Overall, the taste is quality and well worth the price.

The drinks were not that good especially the fruit teas, everything didn’t taste like it was from a boba shop. It’s like going to a noodle shop and getting boba, it’s always mid, but for a shop that specializes in drinks, you’d think it taste better. I couldn’t finish either of my drinks because they tasted bad. The workers don’t really care abt being professional and everything is chillax, actively ignoring customers waiting to finish their gossip session… so not that good either and even though there was no one else in the store, it took forever to get my drinksThe cups are pretty but so thin and flimsy so if you’re driving they are very likely to spill (mine did) they don’t have the regular boba lids where the top is sealed. Their cups are so cheaply made. Honestly the appearance is not worth it?
