I'm a New Yorker (the state, not the city) who tried this place while on vacation. This pizza definitely hit the spot and was a pleasant surprise because I wasn't really expecting to find good pizza near the beach, far from home. It's not exactly NYC style thin crust but it's cheesy with a good amount of toppings, good selection of specialty pizzas and reasonably priced. First time down Virginia beach with the kids, and we were in the mood for pizza. We are pgh natives. Found this place that was close to us, and wasn't disappointed in the slightest. Ordered a pepperoni, meat lovers and hawaiian. I prefer a thicker crust pizza and that's exactly what it was. Id recommend them and will be back again. Keep up the great work.

I Hadn't been to Lago Mar Pizza in a few years. We were down at Sandbridge beach and ended up ordering takeout two days in a row. We absolutely loved it both times. Their cheese pizza is on point! We love the crust and we love the flavor. The staff very friendly to my son. The pizza was ready, hot and fresh, when we arrived. Will definitely order again next time we are down at Sandbridge beach.
