I've been a loyal Lolly's customer for a good bit now and have always enjoyed their ice cream and their staff. Recently they went above and beyond for me and I'm so thankful for them. My best friend is pregnant and loves those gender reveal cakes but isn't much of a cake person. We both immediately thought of Lolly's (as they also did her wedding cake, which was amazing btw). Just a few minutes after I put in the cake order I received a text message from the person who would be making and designing the cake just confirming a couple of things. I had to change the pick up date quite a few times on them and they adjusted with grace and even went as far as saying that since they had extra time they wanted to add something special to the cake. The day I picked up the cake I learned they had a freezer malfunction the day prior and had to rush to remake the cake and it was BEAUTIFUL (and also extremely delicious of course). The cake decorator added such cute touches that made their cake cutting so special. Lolly's staff: I appreciate you guys so much and could never thank you enough for the amazing work you guys do!

My coworker said the ODU Ice Cream and Cake flavor was awesome so I decided to get a quart of it. Kind of pricey but so good! Better than DQ and other places like that.

Ive been wanting to try Lolly's Ice Cream for awhile now. I finally stopped in and it was the best ice cream I've had in a long time. Cookie Monster, Coffee, Pots of Gold l, and Cookies and Cream. DELICIOUS!!

Stopped by to try this place with my mom since I had heard such positive stuff. Unfortunately, we didn't have a very good experience. We were greeted by a young teenager who was as sweet as she could be. However, she asked her associate, another young teenager,if she could get started on the banana split that my mother ordered. Well not until she started making it were we told that they were out of hot fudge/chocolate sauce and Lolly sauce as their shipment had not come in but they would check the other fridge in the back. After checking the other fridge, there was still no hot fudge/chocolate sauce or lolly sauce. Definitely would have been nice to have been offered a discount given that they didn't have all the ingredients and the banana split is $13.50. Likewise, if you know you are out of something why not have a sign up so the customer knows before ordering or better yet go to the grocery store and buy some hot fudge/chocolate until your shipment comes in. Do better management do better!

Good ice cream! The coffee had actual ground beans; the cookies and cream had a lot of cookies, but they'd ere a little softer than fresh Oreos; the pumpkin tasted a little off... a bit like a soap aftertaste hence the 4/5; and the raspberry sorbet was just average and a little too sweet.

Bright, clean, open concept so you can see everything. Great service and full of patrons. Well-mannered and attentive staff. Prices are affordable, and ice cream is delicious and creamy.
If I could leave half a star review or less then, I would. This place is usually pretty good and staff is usually very nice. However tonight we arrived 25 mins prior to closing and saw they were somewhat busy. We didn’t mind waiting our turn in line and didn’t really think it was a big deal as this seems to be pretty common this time of year/in the area. Not only did they make our order wrong but they told us they close at 9 so if we are still in line by then we aren’t getting served. We ordered a regular size strawberry ice cream on a sugar come (got coffee) and a coffee brownie sundae (got a coffee sundae no brownie and were charged for the brownie). Upon letting staff know it was wrong they simply said oh well we already put up the strawberry ice cream so it’s this or nothing. We have grown to enjoy Lolly’s but after tonight’s treatment probably won’t be back.

I've heard of Lolly's for a while now, and we finally was able to try it! When we first walked in the two associates greeted us. They were very helpful in explaining the flavors and also offered us free sampling. I got the Cookie Monster ice cream which is a blue ice cream made with Oreos and cookie dough. It was soo good. My kids got the coffee (decaffeinated) and mint chip. They loved it. My husband got the peach sorbet since he's lactose intolerant. He ate his in 5 minutes (that says a lot!) LOL. Overall the atmosphere was very welcoming. You can tell they were a popular spot because so many people came in after us. Downside is that they had only 2 tables. We will definitely visit again.

Went here around 7:11 pm with my friend. The shop is cute inside and the two ladies there today were very friendly and nice; they greeted us as we came, asked how we were doing today, and even gave me a compliment on my outfit :) I ordered a regular size cup (2 big scoops) of mermaid flavor ice cream and my friend ordered a small cone (2 small scoops) of strawberry ice cream. Both tasted so yummy and fresh, definitely was a great way to end such a hot and humid day. I definitely will be going back again since I learned that they rotate different flavors.My overall rate of experience: 10/10

I got a small waffle cone with Sarah's wedding cake and it was so good. Not too sweet and nice size chunks of cake. The employee was very nice and patient as I tried figure out what I wanted. It's a cute little shop with a few tables to sit if you like. Everything looked neat and organized from what I could see.Both this location and the one closer to the oceanfront have made a good impression on me.
